Dr. Rachel Filice graduated with honours from Western University with a Bachelor of Medical Science, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery with honours from the University of Toronto.
An accomplished professional, Dr. Rachel Filice is also an accomplished student. She was awarded the S.G. Bridgman Prize in her second year of dental school. In her third year, the Ontario Dental Association presented her with the Proficiency Award, recognizing her high academic achievement, developed clinical skills, involvement in extracurricular activities, and athletic participation. And in her final year she received the Gordon Cressy Award from the University of Toronto. She was also invited to join the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honour Dental Society—an organization that represents the highest achievements in dental scholarship, professionalism, and ethics—and was awarded the Dean’s Gold Medal at her graduation ceremony.
Rachel cares for her patients and about her ability to give back. In 2017 she had the privilege of visiting Cambodia, where she volunteered with six colleagues to provide dental treatment to communities in the rural province of Kampong Chhnang.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and dogs, Lola and Kora. She loves to travel, hike, swim, and cook with her mom. And she’s excited to be able to work alongside her father and the entire Filice Dentistry team.
